API TANK FABRICATION, REPAIRS, AND MAINTENANCE
Bay’s Tank Services Group provides shop fabrication of and field erected API storage tanks for the process industry. Its focus is balanced between new tankage as well as repairs, alterations, and maintenance to existing structures.
Bay’s Tank and Vessel Unit has a full range of services including:
- Grassroots API 650 Tanks
- Grassroots LNG Tanks
- Build to API 650, API 620 AW WA D100, NFPA #22, U.B.C. and B.O.C.A.
- API 653 tank repair and modifications
- Repair and replacement of floating roofs and seals
- Tank bottom repair and replacement
- HDPE leak detection liners
- Sandblast and paint
- Dismantle, move and erect storage tanks
In house engineering and detailing to the standard of construction offers “value added” when helping evaluate problems and meeting client’s needs.
Bay’s experience varies from minor tank repairs in compliance with API-653, to multi-tank “grassroots” product terminals (including foundations, infrastructure, metering/transfer facilities, instrumentation and electrical, etc), to the more stringent specifications and procedures required for construction or LNG re-gasification tanks (9% Nickel alloy).
