NGL Fractionation Towers

Bay Ltd. (Berry Fabricators) has fabricated two sets of four NGL Fractionators for a valued Gulf Coast client. The projects involved comprehensive mechanical code calculations, procurement, fabrication, and delivery of the Trayed Towers, which included four specific towers: the Deethanizer (13.5’ I.D. x 172’ OAL, weighing 676,000 lbs.), the Depropanizer (12’ to 13’ I.D. x 188’ OAL, weighing 526,000 lbs.), the Debutanizer (10.5” to 11.5’ I.D. x 165’ OAL, weighing 379,000 lbs.), and the Deisobutanizer (11.5’ I.D. x 229’ OAL, weighing 545,000 lbs.). Additionally, our scope of work included the loading and securement of the towers onto the transportation barge, barge shipment, offloading, and heavy hauling to the project site using Bay’s Nicolas self-propelled transporters (SPMTs).
