JOB SUMMARY
The Tire & Lube Service Crew Lead oversees daily tire, lubrication, and preventive maintenance operations for commercial vehicles, non-commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment. This role leads technicians, ensures safe and efficient workflow, maintains quality standards, and supports productivity in a fast-paced service environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and lead tire and lube technicians
- Assign work and manage daily workflow across multiple vehicle types
- Oversee tire service, oil changes, lubrication, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
- Perform quality checks and resolve service or rework issues
- Maintain shop cleanliness, tools, and equipment
- Monitor inventory of tires, fluids, and shop supplies
- Use computer systems to track work orders, schedules, and reports
- Communicate operational updates to management
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
- Generate and maintain accurate job aid for duties assigned
- Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting company’s safety culture
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid state driver’s license
- 3+years of tire and lube experience (commercial/heavy equipment preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in shop and outdoor environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work outdoors, exposed to heat and humidity, cold and rain, and around heavy traffic areas
- Ability to operate job related tools
- Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds and up to 150 pounds with help
