Giving Premature Babies a Fighting Chance – Bay Ltd. Marches for a Cause
On Saturday, April 28th, a group of our employees and their loved ones participated in the March of Dimes’ annual walk, the March for Babies. March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that funds research that is used by hospitals to increase the survival rate of premature babies. They focus on providing hospitals with tools to save premature babies and prevention programs to support healthy babies and mothers. “The March of Dimes gives babies a fighting chance at survival by providing the most advanced medicines and treatments such as blood albumin, which saved the life of my premature son born weighing only 1 pound, 8 oz. by preventing his kidneys from failing,” says Jamie Manheimer, Project Control, Bay Ltd.
Our employees raised over $6600 for a cause very close to our hearts. Bay Ltd. was also recognized as one of the “Top Three Corporate Team Fundraisers,” “Top Three Individual Fundraisers” – Bobbie Walsh, Purchasing, and received an award for “Best Team Spirit.” Thank you to ALL of our employees who donated their time, energy, and funds to our March of Dimes campaign.
