Mrs. Laura Berry hosts South Texas event raising over $250,000 to support San Antonio based Veteran Non-Profit
A special thank you to Laura Berry and the Berry bunch who raised funds for Military Warriors Support Foundation in October at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio.
Laura Berry raised $200,000 and her team raised an additional $58,331, which generated a grand total of $258,331 raised in support of Military Warriors Support Foundation and our mission.
Military Warriors Support Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2007 by CEO & Founder Retired Lieutenant General Leroy Sisco. We are proud to support our nation’s veterans who were wounded in combat and the surviving Gold Star spouses whose heroes were killed in action. We support them and their families through our mentorship connected programs providing for them crucial transitional support out of the military and into their new civilian lives. Our programs focus on homeownership, recreational activities, transportation assistance and leadership development.
In addition to them receiving a home or vehicle, each recipient is enrolled in our family and financial mentorship program. They are provided a family and financial mentor who works together with them to develop a plan for their success, and they also communicate monthly, review budgets, credit reports and savings goals. Through the debt-reduction education provided by our mentorship program, our families have paid off over $24 million in personal debt. This is a tremendous accomplishment for our families.
We can’t thank Laura Berry and her generous donors enough for supporting this amazing event!
