JOB SUMMARY
The Office Clerk will be responsible for assisting the department with filing and scanning of documents onto a shared server.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- File and scan accounting documents onto a shared server or designated area
- Manage and organize records and files
- Provide support to daily operations of the department including but not limited to pulling checks, locating invoices requested, mail processing
- Generate and maintain accurate job aid for duties assigned
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in job related duties
SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with visitors and employees at all levels
- Must be initiative-taking and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement when handling company and department day to day information
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and/or standing constantly
- Will work in an office setting (indoors)
- Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks
- Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer)
- Constantly perform repeating motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Frequently communicate with other members of the team. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner
- Light work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 20 pounds
