Bay Ltd. Highway Division – US 181 Beam Erection / Childress and Sunset
Bay LTD was awarded a TxDOT project for the construction of connecting freeway, widening of US 181, construction of Heavy Haul Road, frontage roads and ramps along with over a mile of bridges from Gregory, Texas to Portland, Texas. The project started in January and this phase was completed in May 2019, one month ahead of schedule. After completion of accelerated phase, work on northbound and southbound US 181 bridges commenced. Bay Ltd. performed the first beam girder installation under power lines on December 3-4, 2020.
