Trike Trail Opens at The Ronald McDonald House
Saturday was a special day at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi. A new space outside, for families staying at the house while their children seek medical treatment in local hospitals, is now available to everyone. A trike trail, a 400 foot path of 72 tons of decomposed granite, was added to the backyard of the House and was generously provided by a grant and volunteers from the Rotary Club and volunteers and equipment from Bay Ltd. as well as many monetary donations. 
Many gathered for a ribbon cutting and to celebrate the new trail on Saturday including volunteers, Ronald McDonald House staff and families. Everyone, especially the children at the House, are looking forward to sunshine filled days outside on the new beautiful trail thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who gave their time and support to make this a reality for the Ronald McDonald House.
